Minnesota Lake
Police Department:
To all Pet Owners: This is a WARNING notice to all pet owners.
All pets are to registered with the City of Minnesota Lake, all pets are to
be on a leash or tied to their own property, all pets that are outside
animals are to have proper food, water and shelter at all times. The City of Minnesota Lake does have the
following ordinances for pets: 1) Habitual barking (620.03) 2) License requirements (620.02) 3) Running at large (620.01) 4) Proper food, water, shelter (630.06) 5) To many animals on a property (620.05)
The City of Minnesota Lake Police, and
Animal Control Officers have received several complaints on the above
problems. This notice is to remind everyone of the law. Again this notice
is a WARNING notice to all pet owners. If there is a complaint on your pet
or you are in violation of any of the above ordinances there will be no more
warnings, citations will be given for all violations. If you do not have
any pets then you may disregard this notice. Thank you for your cooperation
in this matter.
Guns:
Subsection 710.01. Use of Weapons.
Subd. 1. Restrictions.
No person except a police
officer in the performance of duty shall, within the city, discharge any
gun, pistol, or firearm of any description or carry any such weapon
unless it is dismounted or broken apart or carried in a case in such a
manner that it cannot be discharged. This subdivision does not prevent
the carrying of a handgun within the city under a permit subject to the
restrictions imposed by law.
Subd. 2. Air Rifles, Sling Shots and Bows and
Arrows. No person
shall use or discharge any air rifle, sling shot or bow and arrow within
the city.
Subd. 3. Offense by Parents, Guardians.
It is unlawful for any
parent or guardianof any person under the age of 18 years knowingly to
permit such person to violate any provision of this section.
