  • 9:30am Children's Fishing Derby - Old Mill Pond
        Open to Pre-School through Grade 8
        (Preschool through grade 2 must be accompanied by an adult)
        Bring your own fishing gear. Bait is provided.
        Registration 9:30 at the gazebo
        Prizes for the first 50 to register
        
        Hot dogs will be served to participants at the park shelters by Minnesota Lake Community Club Members

       The Madelia Integration Collaborative is a voluntary consortium of Madelia, Lake Crystal, Maple River, and Truman Schools. It is committed to promoting respect for and understanding of the heritage of the collaborating communities and their citizens.

    As an extension of the educational community our mission is to provide an effective vehicle to nurture a sense of individual worth, increase cultural understandings of all people, and build a foundation for lifelong learning in a diverse and changing world. To do this, we commit to promoting a set of values that reflects care, concern, commitment, and compassion for all students, regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity, in their community and surrounding communities

    This year the above sponsors will host the Festag Amateur Talent Search. The Talent Search will be for students in the Pre-Teen category-12 and under, and the Teen category-13-18. There will be prizes for the first three places in each category of One Hundred Fifty Dollars, One Hundred Dollars, and Seventy-Five Dollars.

    The Talent Search contest will be held at the Minnesota Lake City Lot, on the corner of Park St. and 3rd Ave. from 5-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2004.
